Two Summer Options

Choose a focused sprint or a deeper pathway.

Each track typically includes 2–3 live hours per week plus homework, practice, reading, coding or research milestones.

6-Week Summer Sprint

Focused

Best for students who want visible progress in one priority area: SAT math, Python, AP Chemistry, AMC 8/10, USACO foundations or a research starter project.

  • ✓ Intake and starting-level review
  • ✓ Weekly live sessions and homework
  • ✓ Midpoint feedback and final parent summary
  • ✓ Works well around travel and family schedules

12-Week Summer Pathway

Deeper

Best for serious outcomes: competition readiness, research development, AI/ML portfolio, AP mastery or a summer-to-fall college profile plan.

  • ✓ Structured milestones across June, July and August
  • ✓ Option to combine two complementary tracks
  • ✓ Parent progress check-ins
  • ✓ Clear next-step recommendations for fall

Program Tracks

Pick one focus or build a custom summer plan.

Small groups form when students are at a similar level. Advanced tracks can be 1:1 or semi-private.

Middle School STEM

For rising 6th–9th graders building confidence and acceleration.

  • Science Bowl
  • Python and AI/ML basics
  • AMC 8/10 readiness
  • USACO Bronze/Silver foundations
  • Math acceleration and languages

Coding, AI/ML & Game Design

For builders who want projects, portfolio work and deeper CS skills.

  • Python, Java, C++
  • Advanced AI/ML and data science
  • Game design for advanced middle and high school students
  • Bioinformatics and biostatistics projects
  • Project demo preparation

Competitions & Olympiads

Strategy, practice and accountability before the competition season.

  • AMC 8, AMC 10/12 and AIME readiness
  • USACO Silver and Gold preparation
  • Biology, Physics and Chemistry Olympiad prep
  • Science Bowl coaching
  • Mock contests and error review

ACSEF & Research

For students ready to explore a serious topic and create a real deliverable.

  • Science fair project development
  • Biomedical research
  • Business and economics research
  • Research writing and data analysis
  • Publication and non-publication options

SAT/ACT & AP Prep

Reduce fall pressure with summer preparation and weekly practice.

  • SAT Math and Reading/Writing
  • ACT Math, Science, English and Reading
  • AP Statistics and AP Calculus
  • AP Chemistry, Biology and Physics
  • FRQ practice and pacing strategies

Math, Writing & Languages

Foundation-building and acceleration for the next school year.

  • Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus
  • Academic writing and reading comprehension
  • English support and essay development
  • Spanish and Chinese support
  • Study habits and executive function

Research Tracks

Depth for students who want more than tutoring.

Students learn how to frame a question, read sources, analyze data or literature and produce a meaningful deliverable. For selected tracks, research professors or senior mentors may be involved.

Ask About Research Fit

Publication Track

For motivated students ready for rigorous research writing and possible submission planning.

  • Research question and literature scan
  • Data, experiment or analysis plan
  • Drafting, revision and presentation support
  • Senior mentor or professor involvement when appropriate

Non-Publication Track

For authentic research exposure without the pressure of publication.

FAQ

Common parent questions

Can my child combine multiple tracks?

Yes. Many students combine two areas, such as SAT + AP prep, AI/ML + research, AMC + USACO or biomedical research + writing. We recommend keeping the plan focused enough to make measurable progress.

Are programs group-based or 1:1?

Both are possible. Small groups work well when students are at a similar level. Research, advanced competition and highly customized tracks may be better as 1:1 or semi-private programs.

How much homework should students expect?

Most tracks include homework, practice, reading, coding or project milestones between sessions. The exact load depends on grade, goals and whether the family chooses a 6-week or 12-week path.

Do research tracks guarantee publication?

No responsible research program should guarantee publication. We support rigorous topic selection, research design, writing, revision and submission planning where appropriate.
